THAT'S TRUE. THIS SEASON IS DEFINITELY REALER THAN THE OTHERS. I CAN EVEN RELATE TO ONE OF THE CHARACTERS (JT) WHO SOMEWHAT REMINDED ME OF MYSELF IN THE BEGINNING.
I DON'T LIKE THE FACT THAT VANESSA GOT KICKED OFF THE SHOW. KRYSTAL WAS TALKIN' ALOT OF ISH AND IT JUST WASN'T FAIR. YEAH, THEY WERE BOTH IN THE WRONG ON THE FIGHT, BUT I STILL DON'T THINK VANESSA SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN KICKED OFF WHILE KRYSTAL SEEMED TO GET AWAY SCOTT-FREE.

We judge each other eveyday on the way someone looks, the way they talk, and the way they act. Its not about being black nor is it about how old they are. It is about where they are from, and just because some of us would have taken that approach on that show different from the cast members don't make us different from any of them. It does not matter if you are black you can not change the whole race only yourself. This show makes it seem like American Young adults have more opportunity then anyone else and we are better than everyone else. I am no better then the starving children in Africa and George Bush showed me that when I went through Hurricane Katrina. So we as a whole need to get ourselves together and think about what is going on. Tonights episode could have shown a crime scene with someone being pulled out of the house in a body bag. Think about life !

I dare anyone to view clips from the old movie BIRTH OF A NATION on you tube. This is how racist america
portrayed black people then. Then tune in to some of BET shows such as College Hill, Flava of Love,
and other uneducated shows, and you will see how blacks portray themselves now. Still the same. Minstrel show fools.

These "STUDENTS"(?) need to be educated on black consiousness:
You are representing yourselves and your people
ACT as if you are.
You all are in college, not jr. high school.
ACT as if you are.
Black leaders fought and died for your dignity and respect.
ACT as if you have both.
NEVER present yourselves or your people as damn fools for an audience.
ALWAYS show how SMART we are as a people, not how DUMB some of
us can be.
YOU WERE CHOSEN TO REPRESENT OUR INTELLIGENT RACE, NOT
EMBARASS US!

Several writers hit it on the mark when they said that the last episode was shameful. I completely agree. The title of the show should indicated that they are highlighting the acheivements of young black people from historically black colleges, trying to become educated and successful in the world today, but this season more so than others is nothign more than a segregated "real world" , so far in only episode has a housemates acctually done anything related to school, unlike other seasons the case was involved in the community doing different things. This season is nothing more than an Alcholic Sexfest. The "Cali kids" are confirming to the world that American (mainland) youth are spoiled, materialistic and deprived of what it means to have true culture. My self included (so that I dont come off holier than thou), not neccessarily on the culture issue because I do enjoy experiencing travel,we dont appreciate the simple things in life. Until tragedy hits close to home, like the events this past week at VT. Vanessa had a moment where she'd had enough. Not justifying her actions but, she has handled Krystal's ignorance for cultural diversity better than anyone in Cali would have, if she went to their hood talking all that sh*t she been talking. You know the saying misery loves company well Krystal, bka Misery is fruit of a poison tree, is broke and miserable (trust me I am miserable when I'm broke too but I don't act 2 years old) and feels that if she is that way others should be too. JT (yeah he was on season 3 episode 28 of pimp my ride) must have forgot he supposed to be a spritual person carrying his bible and quoting the word. When did it become ok for you to call a female a b*tch? His new name is Don, for Don Imus he aint no better. Bottom line is this season although in a more exciting place is less impressive than most seasons and has steered away from the shows title and topic which I thought was the college experience of historically black colleges

I think the entire episode was shameful. What is the purpose of College Hill? It should have been about expanding one's horizons and learning about different cultures. When you have a black man in his twenties calling a black young woman a bitch and disrespecting her culture, we should all be ashamed. And when you have a Caribbean woman start an assault on another young woman, we should all be ashamed. Violence doesn't solve a thing!

I could not have said this better myself. Are they promoting violence and segregation. I mean why have a code of conduct for the unruley action that is so publicized and liked. Where is the grown-ups. When you find one tell them to straighten this mess up. Again your comment was well =put

I think that College Hill was an awesome concept in the beginning, but it has now turned into a "Reality Show" mess. I think that the last episode alone is an embarrassment to any young, black, high school or college age person. The cultural discrimination, blatant disrespect for any type of diversity education, cheating on partners, ignorance...shall I go on? It is sad. This show is called "College Hill" and I don't see the implications for education, responsibility, willingness to learn new cultures and have new experiences, etc. in the show. Do some of those experiences happen while in college, yes, but the show does not have to be completely tacky in order for people to watch it. I just think it's sad. I don't care if others posting are more interested in who beat who up or whatever, I have my own concerns and they have nothing to do with that drama. Most of the "kids" in that house need some guidance from someone more respectful and driven (or at least that is what the show is leading some people to believe). GET UR LIFE TOGETHER...ALL OF YOU!

I'm not sure how old Vanessa is but for a woman to jump on some one bc she does not like her and does not like what she is Saying tells me she has a lot of growing up to do. In some st. in the usa some one can pull a gun on you for that. I'm not saying one wrong makes another ok but not some thing she should do here. that high hill was being nice, I would have had her put in jail.
